The All India Pre-Medical test/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT now replaced by NEET-UG) was an annual medical entrance examination in India. The exam was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges across the country. 15% of the total seats in all medical and dental colleges run by the Union of India, state governments, municipal or other local authorities in India, except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir, were reserved for candidates who qualified this examination.
Every Year AIPMT was conducted on first Sunday in the month of May.Direct admission on Percentage Basis / Admission cum Scholarship Test.
Each batch will continue for a period of 8 to 9 months from the date of its commencement.
The total hours of course will be 800 hours. The class will be conducted 5-6 days in a week. Each class will be of 1 hour to 2.5 hours duration. Maximum 3 classes will be given per day. One day is reserved for test schedules.
